    My "interface", I mean the way users can interact with the Wiki:
    
    * The layout, look and feel of pages.
    * The ease with which links can be created--I much prefer the [single square brackets] and [[double square brackets]] as well as way in which text in those bracket converts to link text in MediaWiki to the [*yadayada*] or JoinedWordsWithCaps or other Wiki software.
    * and so on.

  Dreamhost offers this wiki free with a standard account. Installation just takes a click, although customization seems to take some serious patience - its taking me forever!

  I run mediawiki on my site www.susanbcline.com/wiki and it is hosted through Quality Host Online. It's about $4 a month and works great.
